My business card designs! There are eight different backs, just to make people’s lives hard. My favorite thing about this was when people would pick one up at MoCCA, they’d say, OBVIOUSLY this one, but the “obvious” choice was different for everyone!

Zebulon the Zanzibar Zebra went on vacation to get away from the lions! Maybe we’ll see his further adventures in the future ;)

I got these made by MOO Cards and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how they came out, so I recommend them if you need cards made!

This was our table at MoCCA (Saturday, before I set it up better the next day)! MoCCA was a lot of fun and I am very tired. I got to talk to lots of great people, and traded, gave and, yes!, sold comics to all kinds of folks. I hope I’ll be back next year with some different stuff.
Unfortunately, this was the last picture I took before my camera broke, so I won’t have pictures of the two new comics, Kraken and Motherland, until I fix it or get a new one. I’ll see if I can do some other updates to the website in the meantime!

Wednesday is Champawat’s 11th birthday— a character I only ever seem to draw on her birthday these days, but I love my dumb maneater miss with all my hearts and legs and assorted rended body parts!
So here she is with the only man for her, Limby (if monsters kept trapper keepers).

Some of what’s happening on my desk right now (action figures are man’s greatest cultural achievement: don’t let anyone tell you otherwise).
Lance is a man used to battling giant robots; what’s the big deal with a giant plastic husky cursed dire wolf?
My aunt said “I like that Merlin is in front here” when she saw this. Yesss, that is how it works.

It’s terrible, but I kind of really like Tiny Ballpoint Catband!
Back to work on some things I can hopefully show you soon! These dopes always seem to be my go-to for sanity breaks.

Yesterday we were watching a SciFi original Mothman movie where Mothman avenges murdered people by going after their killers. My Mothman takes things a bit more personally!

Godzilla is an aspiring architect. He’s chilling 10,000 feet under the sea for ages, we wake him up and he goes, SWEET. PEOPLE HAVE BUILT THINGS! and so he comes up onto land to check it out all the cool new stuff, and he’s like, I HATE THIS BRIDGE. IT HAS TO GO, he improves Tokyo the way he thinks would make it better, and goes back into the sea after a good day’s work. WHY IS THERE AN OXYGEN BOMB? I WAS HELPING.

Happy New Year! January 1st isn’t a great day in my life, but the new year is a day of infinite hope, possibilities and new beginnings, and I think that is something very precious.
Like the last drawing, this is Prospect Park, and this guy is one of the 3rd st panthers. One of my favorite New Year’s was a year I tried to run up to Grand Army Plaza to watch the fireworks, didn’t make it in time, and so I stood in the snow at 3rd st with all these complete strangers— rowdy partygoers, families in bathrobes, people walking dogs— everyone watching the fireworks and cheering on the new year together like a family. I hope everyone’s 2012 is just as surprising and beautiful.
